Local Organization Healing the World, One Mother at a Time

Mother’s Grace holds its 9th annual fundraising event

PHOENIX (March 9, 2018) – Mother’s Grace is an Arizona nonprofit dedicated to supporting mothers and children that are in the immediacy of life tragedies and is set to host its annual Mother’s Day Brunch on May 3. Mother’s Grace hopes to raise more than 350,000, exceeding their proceeds of $300,000 from the previous year.
Each year, Mother’s Grace hosts this event to spread awareness of its mission and seek support for women and children facing devastating life circumstances. This year’s champagne brunch will take place on Thursday, May 3 from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at El Chorro and will feature luxury raffle prizes and a silent auction. Event sponsors include, Valley Toyota Dealers, The Ducey Family Foundation, Alliance Labs, The Budde Family Foundation, Steak 44 and Dominick’s Restaurants, Harrison Homes, Thunderbird Charities, Ken and Randy Kendrick Family, Grubb Family Foundation and The Davis Experience.

To date Mother’s Grace has helped thousands of women and children get back on their feet, established nearly a dozen nonprofits out of tragedy and supported numerous community organizations through grants.

Founded in 2009 by Michelle Moore-Fanger, Mother’s Grace provides financial assistance by way of monthly bills, medications, meals, housekeeping, childcare, transportation, and ancillary services. Furthermore, Mother’s Grace empowers mothers with grants and mentorship who have overcome great hardship to turn their personal tragedies into a positive giveback in their own communities for others inflicted with a similar life crisis. Mother’s Grace mentors these women, offering support and guidance in starting their own 501(c)(3) organizations.

“I have been involved with Mother’s Grace since its inception, nine years ago and have truly seen this organization change the lives of countless women and children,” said Arizona’s First Lady and Mother’s Grace board member, Angela Ducey.

The pursuit of this Mother’s Grace mission wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of its donors, the many selfless volunteers and the dedicated board members.

Mother’s Grace Donates $3K to MASK to Help Engage, Educate and Empower Elementary School-age Children

MASK PRESS RELEASE – Scottsdale, AZ: MASK (Mothers Awareness on School-age Kids) is pleased to announce it has received a $3,000 gift from Mother’s Grace which will allow MASK to work with kindergarten-6th grade students to build and strengthen their life skills. MASK’s mission is to engage and educate parents, children and the community about issues facing youth and to empower youth to make safe, healthy choices. MASK fulfills its mission by engaging, educating and empowering families through the MASK E3 Institute, MASK The Magazine and its vastly informative website.

This support will allow MASK to implement the MASK E3 Institute/MASK Academy program (Kindergarten-6th grade) in a school that may not have the budget to do so. Children will be educated at a developmentally age-appropriate level on a wide variety of topics such as bullying, peer pressure, self-esteem, alcohol and substance use/abuse, communication and technology safety. A school-wide approach to positive social-emotional skills creates an educational environment that prepares children to be “ready to learn”. This customized curriculum is based on contemporary trends as it relates to the challenges faced by today’s youth and their families. Parents will be invited to attend MASK Parent University to be educated on the corresponding topics, and each child will go home with an issue of MASK The Magazine.

In partnership with Arizona State University, the MASK Academy E3 lessons will be facilitated by Arizona State University (ASU) students who have been trained and certified as MASK Mentors. The ASU students will visit the school 16 times throughout the school year to present lessons and reinforcement activities to K-6th grade students.

MASK aims to improve school climate, build healthy children, and strengthen parent-child bonds through psychoeducational information, MASK Academy E3 lessons, classroom-based reinforcement activities, and education on current trending topics through the MASK E3 Institute and MASK The Magazine.

Mother’s Grace supports 501 (c) (3) organizations and many other charitable organizations. Mother’s Grace helps mothers and families suffering from adversity by providing immediate financial, emotional, and spiritual support in the midst of their trials. The organization awards grants to mothers who have dealt with tragedy and have come through with faith and perseverance to take the experience of their suffering to help others in need.

“We love the work of the MASK organization and we are proud to be able to support children with their empowerment program,” said Michelle Moore-Fanger Founder and President of Mother’s Grace. “Mother’s Grace mission is to support moms and children in our community and help them with tough situations and the strategy of MASK fits our mission perfectly.”

“We are so grateful to Mother’s Grace for their support. Their generous donation will help us continue our mission to engage, educate and empower children and parents to navigate the modern-day challenges they may be facing,” said MASK Founder and Publisher Kimberly Cabral. “Our organizations are aligned in our mission to help Arizona children and families and we are proud to work with Mother’s Grace to touch more lives in our community.”
