Save the Date – May 7th, 2015 – 6th Annual Mother’s Grace Brunch

PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. – Celebrate Mother’s Day with a tribute to Graceful Mothers and their inspirational work with a champagne brunch, shopping and a heartwarming and inspirational guest speaker on Thursday, May 7th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Mother’s Grace Charity is dedicated to the support of Mothers and children who have endured life tragedies. By providing financial support and guidance, Mother’s Grace empowers these women to reach their goals of making a difference in their communities by helping others inflicted with similar circumstances.

This year Mother’s Grace board member and Arizona’s First Lady Angela Ducey will chair the brunch alongside founder and President Michelle Fanger.

“Mother’s Grace is truly a blessing to our community in service of families who have endured life tragedies,” said Ducey. “I have witnessed first-hand how Mother’s Grace stepped in immediately to ease the burden in an otherwise unbearable situation.”

The story of Mother’s Grace begins back in the early 2000’s when Founder Michelle Fanger, a then corporate executive, who was working to make a difference in the lives of mothers, found herself in need of help. After years of successfully coordinating humanitarian efforts to moms all over including in Africa and New Orleans where she helped to rebuild several inner city schools in following Hurricane Katrina, Fanger was diagnosed with a severe form of breast cancer. But that wasn’t it, three weeks after receiving her diagnosis, Fanger’s son had to be rushed to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes. It was during that time Fanger realized the void and the immediate needs an organization like Mother’s Grace could fulfill.

“As a corporate executive I was trying to add value by helping other mothers in need. I had lost my own mother at young age and felt a need to connect with other mothers and help during those difficult times. Then it all came full-circle with my own diagnosis and my son’s diagnosis. I immediately understood the true need of mothers who are the backbone of their family and what kind of support they need during these life-changing events.”

Fast forward to 2015, Mother’s Grace is now a 501c3 Charity and remains committed to healing the world one mother at a time.

“At Mother’s Grace we not only give financial support to those in immediate need while they are trying to deal with the burden of devastating illness or loss, but we also step in and help with monthly bills, medications anything we can do to support them during their time of need,” said Fanger. “But the giving doesn’t stop there. Mother’s Grace awards 4 to 5 grants per year to Mothers who have transformed their personal tragedy into grace filled action. These grants often help the mother with start-up costs associated with a 501c3.”
