Singleton Moms, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to nurturing single parents battling cancer and their minor children, by meeting the practical day- to-day needs of the entire family, while providing hope for tomorrow. Singleton Moms serves families in Maricopa County and parts of Pinal County, Arizona.
The LIHEAP program (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program) can help families who struggle with paying their utility bills. Applicants are approved based on a number of factors, including family size, income, and the area in which they live.
Cleaning For A Reason
Fighting cancer is difficult enough, but living with it is even tougher and that’s where Cleaning For A Reason steps in. As a nonprofit serving the entire United States and Canada, we partner with maid services to offer professional house cleanings to help women undergoing treatment for cancer, any type of cancer. To date, we have provided more than 17,000 cleanings for women with cancer with a value of more than $4 million in donated cleanings, and partnered with over 1000 maid services.

To provide parents of medically fragile children with respite opportunities through activities that allow parents to take “time-out” from the unrelenting demands associated with their child’s care so that they can maintain their stamina and sense of perspective and continue to meet the intense medical needs of their child.

The Arizona Community Action Association (ACAA) unites communities to end poverty through community-based initiatives and solutions. Programs operated, managed or supported by ACAA include:
