Hi Michelle, thank you so much to a Mother’s Grace on behalf of Kaylee! Your help is answered prayer 🙏🏼. She said she feels like she can breathe easier now 😊

Kaylee and Roberta, September 2022

This has been, hands down, the hardest year of my life.
We moved to Arizona with our 5 year old son. It has been really lonely and depressing not knowing anybody and my husband working all the time. After six months of being here I received news that devastated me regarding my marriage. Next my mom, whom was my best friend and the biggest supporter passed suddenly in her sleep. After that I was diagnosed with Grover’s disease and skin cancer on my face. To top it all I was assigned a tax lien for GE taxes that somehow my CPA never filed over a few year period. I found myself in a very dark and hopeless place and it was then when Mother’s Grace showed me a light in the tunnel. They helped me financially in my most difficult time and provided consulting with healing and moving forward with my life. I will be forever grateful to them for lifting me up and providing hope that the life can get better having around people who truly care.

Love,
Sylwia, June 2022

Dear Mother’s Grace Board,

Thank you very much for all the support and prayers! I appreciate you all taking the time to pray for my health! The gift cards were very generous, and I am starting to heal from all that has happened. The video was also a wonderful surprise~
Thank you again for all of the kindness you shared with me.

Dear Michelle,

Thank you for giving me hope and the strength keep pushing forward for Chris. Your extremely generous donations are getting us closer to getting him in his own bed and in classes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this world a better place!

Dearest Michelle,

Words, truly, cannot express how very grateful and appreciative Teresita and her sons are, as well as myself.

I came to see them to read them your email in person. Tears immediately filled Teresita’s eyes and asked “what can we do to thank them? Please tell them how deeply grateful we are.”  We were all so emotionally touched.

We ARE most grateful and appreciative for all the love and kindness blessed upon Teresita, David, Nickolas and little Sammy by Mother’s Grace due to my precious brother Flavio’s passing.

Mother’s Grace was our ‘saving Grace’ when my sister was at the tail end of her cancer treatments and she needed financial help through the holidays . Our family and most of all , my sister, are forever grateful for the kind generosity and care that the organization has given.

I can’t thank Mother’s Grace enough!

This year has been so unexpected, with my third surgery in six months this Thursday. Needing to miss so much work for three surgeries this year has been very financially straining. I can’t thank you all enough for helping.

Your organization has always held a special place in my heart, and you continue to fill me with awe for all that you manage to do for families in their struggles. In this season of Thanksgiving I am so thankful for you and Mother’s Grace.

With love and well wishes for the best holiday season with your boys and family.

It’s hard to put into words what Mother’s Grace means to me. Over the last ten years, I became familiar with the organization by attending various events and as I petitioned for support for those in my life who were facing unexpected hardships. Hearing the stories of those who had been helped by Mother’s Grace rang true for me. My mom passed in 2019 but she attended a few events with me and we both recognized how critical the work of Mother’s Grace was to those being served during some of the toughest times in their lives. Recently, I too have needed support while battling an aggressive form of breast cancer. Conversations with Michelle Moore-Fanger have brought me comfort and guided me. Michelle recommended that I work with an extraordinarily gifted member of their team who made it possible for me to stay strong through some very dark days. I cannot imagine how I would have made it to this point in my treatment plan without the help of this incredible individual. I am grateful beyond measure to my God, my husband, and my family, and to trusted and loving friends including Michelle and the other members of the Mother’s Grace team. One never knows when the tables will turn from finding yourself in a position to give to suddenly needing to accept help. I am forever grateful that when that time came for me I was connected with Mother’s Grace. All the glory to God for this beautiful organization and those who serve others through it.

Mother’s Grace is a truly amazing organization whose compassion and caring knows no bounds!  They helped me with medical costs for my recent cancer surgery and treatment, which not only helped me financially, but lifted my spirits, gave me hope and filled my heart with gratitude!  Tanu has continued to check in with me to see how I am feeling and recovering, and I cannot thank them enough their support, caring and kindness!

Omg Michelle!!! ????

I hope this email finds you well! Please allow me to express my deepest gratitude for your support and compassion regarding my situation. To ALL at the organization and beautiful souls that are helping me work through some of the the darkest times of my life. I thank God and the Holy Spirit for you every night and put in a good word for ya ?❤️ I still have a TON of healing to do. Not only for myself, but for my children as well. My wish for them is not only to see their mom succeed and come out stronger but also to experience a closer, more fulfilling relationship as a family. I am trying so hard. I never in my wildest dreams imagined I’d be fighting for peace, stability and my life like I am now. If it weren’t for the outpouring love from others (ESPECIALLY strangers?!) I’d be in a much worse position than I am now. At times I feel it can’t get much worse, but we all know that’s not true. That’s because of people like you, Aimee and Mothers Grace! You remind us and comfort those in need, that they are NOT alone and there’s always a way. You’re helping me find my way. My family’s way. Thank you for walking beside me!

Love to all, ❤️❤️

Dear Mother’s Grace,

From the bottom of my heart, thank you!! As a single mom to 2 littles, during COVID-19 when my work hours were cut by 50%, being diagnosed with invasive breast cancer was something I was not prepared for financially. A family friend introduced your organization to my mom and she instantly applied on my behalf.

My biggest stressor since learning that I would need a bilateral mastectomy, requiring 6 weeks off of work, was my mortgage payment. Mother’s Grace blessed me beyond measure and instantly took away my stress. I’m home recovering from surgery and have one less thing to worry about, THANK YOU!!

I hope to have an opportunity to give back in the near future. What an amazing thing you are all doing for those in need!

All my love,

Dear Mothers Grace,

I am writing to extend my Thanks and gratitude for your help during a most difficult time. In June of 2020 my daughter was in an automobile accident which shattered her leg hospitalizing her for a month and alone due to the COVID outbreak. No one could visit patients in the hospitals at this time. She had the first of many surgeries on her leg but that’s not even the hardest part of her journey only a week after her accident her 4 year old daughter was hospitalized from being extremely sick and then diagnosed with ALL leukemia. My daughter was at one hospital alone unable to be comforted while her daughter was in another with me thank god I was able to stay with her. But I am not mom, I’m grandma so it wasn’t the same. My heart broke for my daughter and my granddaughter at this time they needed to be with each other the most and could not thank fully we have the technology we do and Facetime let them see each other over the phones. They are both the strongest girls I know. They made it through and they are both still on their own road to recovery but with each other home thank God for Mothers Grace since I am not the mother I could not use FMLA at work so the 3 weeks I was hospitalized with my grandbaby was unpaid. So my mortgage fell behind but thanks to Mother’s grace it would not stay that way. They took care of that and I can’t even begin to say the amount of stress they took off my shoulders.

Ever so blessed and grateful to your organization,

Luanna, Larissa, and Persefanni

“My 20 year old daughter was in a bad off road vehicle rollover accident Memorial Weekend when camping with family and friends. Her foot and ankle were practically severed at the scene. She was in the hospital for two weeks and ended up with a below the knee amputation. She is a full time college student/athlete and living at home, while working part time. A friend submitted my story to Mother’s Grace and they immediately reached out with financial assistance to help eliminate a lot of our financial burden. They helped make it possible for me to stay home and care for my daughter while taking 3 months of unpaid time off. I will forever be grateful for Mother’s Grace!”

Dear Michelle and All of Your Wonderful Group at Mother’s Grace,

What a special group of hearts each of you have. My mother has had the most difficult past 15 months of her life, she lost her soul mate of 63 years. He was a Korean War hero and died a tragic death from Lewy Bodies. My Mom was his Care taker and POA for many years unless she was in the hospital. All of this mess started unknown by them when a broker had my Alzheimer’s dad sigh something without my mom when she was in the hospital. Pretty Bad deal, considering the broker knew his condition. Now fast forward to now, we have all the documentation but no one wants to take on JPMORGAN Chase…Even if they are wrong.

We have been humbled by your kindness and willingness to take time to listen. Helping my Mother get through the past month was more than I could ever ask for. Your Organization has been a Blessing and we both Thank All of You so Very Much for making this Mother’s Day Very Special for Both of Us.

Respectfully, Gratefully Yours,

My daughter was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive bone cancer at the age of 6 in 2018. Bridget and I moved to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee for Bridget’s treatment. leaving behind my husband and 11 year old son. Bridget’s treatment was long and grueling. After 10 weeks of treatment, Bridget had her right leg amputated below the knee, and then continued to endure another 30 weeks. Due to her limb loss, we needed to move to accommodate her new needs. My husband purchased a new home, coordinated the renovations of the home and began packing our belongings, all while we were still in Memphis. This was a tremendous hardship on him, without any help. That is when we were introduced to Mother’s Grace, by a friend, Janet Millbranth. Not only did Mother’s Grace step in and help finish packing, but they coordinated movers. This took a tremendous weight off my husband’s shoulders and also helped the financial impact of moving, during the home renovation and cancer treatment. Bridget completed her treatment and she and I were welcomed home to a beautiful and safe home. We could not have done this without Mother’s Grace and we are so thankful!

I have been thinking about how grateful I am to the team for helping me. The grant money paid for my electricity, saving my life and giving me the gift to continue living. Your help saved my life in one of my most insurmountable moments of pain and need. I am eternally grateful for the response of kindness, care, and compassion this organization gave me. Thank you for renewed hope to continue forward with a brighter outlook.

Dear Michelle,

I am so thankful! The week I got diagnosed I told myself I am going to have a positive mindset. I truly believe in looking for the good in all things. God is in control and has a purpose for everything. I started a YouTube channel called Look For Blessings. This helps me look for the good, it is healing for me, and without planning this others have shared that it is helping them. May I share how your charity is blessing my family and I? I am on cloud nine right now! I want to thank you, Lara, and the women in your group for this generous way of helping my family and I. This makes me want to reach out and help others once I am healed.

Dear Angela and Michelle,

On behalf of the entire team at Liberation Through Education, I am writing to thank you for your extremely generous donation to Akokoaso Junior High School in Ghana. This is such a beautiful way to honor my grandmother and Nana Esi, and I am deeply moved by your choosing to do this.

I’m excited to announce that we’ve recently reached our goal, and we could not have accomplished this without your generosity. Your donation, along with the rest of the money we raised, will soon be on its way to Akokoaso to supply the students with books and supplies, and to rebuild a broken roof (thereby doubling their number of usable classrooms).

We want to assure you that 100% of your gift will be going directly to the school. Through our research, we have learned that there is risk of monetary theft when delivering funds through the local government’s education office. Therefore, we have worked hard to create a strong and trusted relationship with the Headmaster and faculty of the school, and we will be transferring funds and documenting purchases directly with the school’s leaders. My father and I plan to travel to Ghana this fall (using our personal funds) to meet with the students and faculty, and we look forward to sharing a wonderful update with you then.

We could not be more grateful for the support you’ve given to this project, and we want you to know that your important contribution will make a huge impact in their lives.

Thank you so very much,
Aria Bossone

Thank you for your generous donation to PCSN! We are honored to have received your 3rd Quarter grant this year. This is such important work and we couldn’t do it without you. You ladies are amazing! All the prayers worked and we are back home! Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers❤️? Lily and I love them! So pretty and they smell amazing! Very thoughtful and kind for you to send!

The road has been a little bumpy, this new chemo has not been the easiest on Lily. I am hoping it gets better as her body adjusts. Most importantly I pray it works to stabilize or shrink her tumor so it does not cause any more damage.

Thanks again for everything, please keep the prayers coming!

Thanks again! I really appreciate it!

Dear Jennifer and Mother’s Grace

I wanted to write and thank you for all of the support you have provided me these past several months. Mother’s Grace immediately stepped in and organized meal delivery for my family while I have been coping with the diagnosis of a terminal illness. This has been a life saver.
Your organization also partnered with NCL to continue help with the meals. Again, another blessing. Thank you so much, NCL for taking this on.

I also was able to get my stair lift installed in my home through the generosity of Mother’s Grace. This is truly the biggest blessing yet! I can not thank you enough for this. It has made a huge difference in life. This is a gift that is beyond imaginable. Mother’s Grace is a wonderful organization that is far reaching. I feel so supported by all of you.

I’m truly so thankful to God for making a way in meeting our needs. It has been a stressful journey since I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. Surgeries after surgeries, never-ending doctor’s appt and blood works, treatments …. then early 2017 diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer (spine). On top of that, I was laid off from my job in Dec 2017. What a timing! My children are the only reason I’m fighting this. This illness takes so much of your energy and the financial burden it causes the whole family.

Thank you Mother’s Grace for taking care of our 1-month rent. This help truly lifted such a huge burden off of my shoulders. What a rewarding service your organization does! Your kindness has touched us tremendously. I pray that God will continue to bless your work and provide you with supplies/monetary donations needed in extending assistance to the family stricken by cancer.

Again, thank you so much. It is a huge help and a relief for us.

Mother’s Grace,

I nominated my friend Jacqueline Rael for your help in paying her rent for February & you called me to ask more questions this week. Jacque called me just a few minutes ago to say you were going to pay her rent. She was crying so hard I could barely understand her! I just wanted to thank you so very much for doing this! I know Jacque will pay it forward & would like to volunteer with your organization when her health situation improves. Thank you Mother’s Grace for all the good you do, you are truly angels from above!

To the amazing women of Mother’s Grace,

We are beyond grateful for your mentorship and donation in getting our group Transplant Families from just an idea to 501c3.  Your guidance and support has truly made our dream of supporting families through the process of their child’s transplant and well beyond, a reality.  Now we are able to give resources to this medically vulnerable group before and after their beautiful gift of life.  Thank you so much for helping our families focus on the blessing this gift is instead of the overwhelming medical bills or the trauma of almost losing their child.  And even more, thank you for giving 6 transplant mommas and a donor family purpose in helping make our community stronger.

Dearest Mother’s Grace Friends,

It’s honestly difficult to even find the right words to say about how amazing it felt having all of you dropping off dinner each night for the last two weeks! Each day was a different day for me and it was such a HUGE relief to have such a wonderful dinner provided each night by all of you!!! It was one less thing for Alfred to worry about and kept our family rolling along!

These meals helped me heal so much faster than I ever expected because of all your love, prayer and support. As Terri said, “Love Heals” and I am eternally grateful to all of you!

Jodi, you were so cute-just insisting on dinner delivery and you will never know what it meant to me and my family. We thank you all for taking time out of your very hectic schedules to provide for us in this time of need.

Dear Mother’s Grace

I wanted to give you a small update on Cesar. I received this photo from Loyola Academy with the caption, “Cesar learned a new instrument this summer.” Cesar’s in the middle. Loyola Academy is a 11 month program so students attend during summer which not only keeps them current on their rigorous studies, but also lets them branch out in new areas like learning how to play the xylophone.

Cesar’s family is stabilized and he is headed into 7th grade at Loyola Academy…because of Mother’s Grace.

Hello Michelle,

I have been meaning to write to you to thank you for your help with Cinthia B’s hospital bill. Your phone call the day after I nominated Cinthia came while we were waiting at the hospital. It meant a great deal, as did the warmth and kindness I felt over the phone. I am so happy to know about Mother’s Grace and its generosity. I told Cinthia yesterday that I will be sending you a donation in the future. She said that she would too. Please send me your mailing address. If I can ever be of help to you in Tucson, let me know.

Dearest Michelle and Mother’s Grace Board,

So surprised and touched by your kind and generous gift!!! Really, words can’t express. As I never imagined myself or family on the receiving end of such a gift, it will be very helpful in the alternative therapies that we are using and trying for Kaitlin. We are in the process of gearing up for round 2 of chemo therapy and hoping that some of the alternative medicines will help her get through it with less side effects. Also, Hillary has been a huge blessing for Kaitlin and myself throughout this journey and will continue to be, so thank you for the sessions.

Appreciate all the love, support and prayers.

Much love,

To Mothers grace

I wanted to write to you a say a huge thank you to everyone at mother’s grace for your very kind donation of flight and target vouchers. Not only has it helped financially but it has warmed our hearts knowing that there are people out there who are doing so much for others out of the kindness of their heart. We will be forever grateful for your support.

The flight vouchers have helped us greatly as not only did we have this trip to Minnesota but we will have to keep flying back here for checkups, the target vouchers allowed us to buy our daughter, Lyla a play matt and development tools for her to use while we are here for 4 months, they have also helped with a couple of grocery stops.

We arrived in Minnesota at the start of July and shortly after Lyla was omitted to the hospital for her 8 days of chemo followed by her transplant. The chemo was hard for us as parents to watch, but Lyla took in her stride and showed us how strong babies are. She made great progress after the transplant and was allowed to leave the hospital after a month and we are now all in the Ronald McDonald house watching her get stronger every day. We are hoping that she continues doing as well as she has been and look forward to her 1st birthday on September 3rd. We are hoping to be back in Arizona at the start of November and continue Lyla’s recovery.

We will be forever grateful to mothers grace’s kindness.

Many thanks

unnamedMother’s Grace is a perfect name for your organization. My sister-in-law, Nicolle and I are so grateful to the wonderful women that assisted her in the last few weeks. Nicolle has been battling colorectal cancer for the last 3.5 years and her son is also battling an aggressive brain cancer that has left him paralyzed. Caring for herself while ill and caring for him is complicated but this burden was eased by your compassion. We are so grateful for the meals and groceries but especially in your assistance in getting their handicap van ready for their trip to MD Anderson in Houston, TX. Thank you, they arrived safely and in the hands of some of the best doctors in the country.

Thank you,
Ginger Rowley

image1Hi ladies!

I wanted to fill you in on how things have been going. This summer was fun and chaotic! I’m trying to keep the boys busy while getting things done. Being a single parent is no joke!!

Rachel Earnhardt referred me to Jay at the car dealerships. He has been fantastic! Everyday he checks their inventory for me. Last week I got the call! They found us a suburban. They drew up all of the paperwork and drove out to my house today to bring me our truck! They even got my temporary license plate for me so I don’t have to go to the DMV. They brought another employee so they could drive away my 2 old cars. That is beyond customer service!! That was honestly the easiest process I’ve ever experienced with a car dealership. Wonderful company and people

Thank you all so much for everything you have done for me and my family! You are all truly wonderful women. If I can help you in anyway, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Thank you,
Jen James Max Dominick

Dear Terri and Mother’s Grace-

Thank you all for your very generous gift. Your kindness and support from such a distance means the world to us. The gift cards come as such a sweet gesture, but also provide some relief. We remain in awe of the compassion you have shown. We are confident that Mackenzie will giver her all to fight this beast and we know God is with us. Just to know others are thinking of our baby means so much. Keep up this amazing work of the Lord because you truly raise people’s spirits.
God Bless Kate and Kenzie

Dear Ms. Murphy at Mother’s Grace,

My family and I can’t quite put into words how thankful we are or your gifts! Mortgage relief and support with groceries and gas has really helped through my illness. (prayers have really been answered) I am very ill for 3-4 days after treatment then my stamina returns and I am back to being a ‘MOM”.

God Bless you Gale and Family

IMG_0062Thank you so much for your time and guidance today ladies. You are the true definition of Girl Power!

We left lunch today feeling invigorated and with ideas already swirling about. Your energy and enthusiasm are truly contagious, and your ideas and mentorship were sincerely appreciated.
We look forward to the ribbon cutting of the Child Watch space on Tuesday May 31st.

And finally, a huge thank you for the grant funding Mother’s Grace has awarded our agency. We will be responsible stewards of your funds, and guarantee that it will make an immense impact in the lives of refugees who are starting their lives over again here in Arizona. We are honored to have Mother’s Grace be a part of the launch of this project.

Thank you!

Dear Mother’s Grace,

I felt compelled to let you know that what you did and are doing for Amber and many other mothers all over is VERY inspiring, I went to your website and how refreshing to see women helping women without there being an END GAME. As a Christian woman and friend to Amber I wanted to let you know that you and everyone you work with are greatly appreciated in a world where kindness is greatly needed.

a-andrew-a-mothersgrace-thank-youA Mother’s Grace (and inspiration!) ~ and God’s Plan ~ came together to bless our family in a BIG way this week. We are deeply grateful!

We have had a slew of expensive things break down and need repair in the last few months. Some of those things are yet to be handled, due to the cost. When you live on such a tight budget like we do due to our son’s expensive and ongoing medical needs, there is not much “extra” money to handle things. When they are BIG things in close succession, it is overwhelming financially.

One of things still outstanding was work done on our car. We have done the “band aid” things as necessity along the way, but there were many other things needing attention that we could not do because of the cost.

We are blessed to have 2 vehicles, but our son can only go in one. Our 2nd vehicle is my husband’s tiny pickup truck, a treasured gift from his mother when his father passed away (It was his Dad’s truck). It is the smallest kind – 1 bench seat – and not safe for a small child to be in. Therefore, for all of Andrew’s life, whomever has Andrew with them, has the car.

Our car is a lifeline. It takes our most precious gift (our son) to all of his doctor and physical improvement appointments…and everywhere he needs to go. We take it to CA each summer for Andrew’s medical treatment trip. We would be lost without it. It is 6 years old and is at the mileage where it requires a lot of attention.

Enter Mothers Grace… an amazing charity founded by an incredibly inspirational woman…and run by her and many SHEroes like her. 🙂 Their organization supports Mothers in a critical time of need. Our situation is not the “typical” situation they assist with. Most are helped during a more serious or tragic time. Yet, since our need is ongoing and unique in some sense due to our son’s medical needs, they considered our request. A dear friend was kind enough to apply for me, as I wasn’t able to apply for myself.

We listed out the many needs and they said they would help to get our car in full working and safe order. I don’t know the grand total of what they did, but I know that it certainly would have cost our family over $1500 to do it on our own. They helped our car with new: 2 tires; front brakes; spark plugs; timing and drive belts; coolant flush; oil change; cabin air filter; gear shift — and we were given a free loaner car for a day while all the work was done. In the end, our bill was $0 !

You should have seen me in the “dude zone” of the Hyundai service department (unsuccessfully) trying hard to hold in the tears of gratitude! 🙂 Our car is ready for all that we need to do for quite awhile! Praise God!

One of the inspirational women who is connected to Mother’s Grace is an Earnhardt family member. Our car was purchased from and is serviced by Earnhardt’s Santan Hyundai. When she found out about our situation from the Mother’s Grace team member who was coordinating our assistance, she offered for Earnhardt’s to pay for our car repairs! Wow! Talk about giving back to the community!

Since there are so many different things that need attention with our home, car etc, my request in this was that they help with a mortgage payment (under $1000) to free up money to go toward another issue. What they did though was so much bigger and better than that! God’s plans always are just that…bigger and better than ours!

Michelle, Jodi, Rachel and Everyone connected to Mother’s Grace, along with the Earnhardt Family ~ Please know that by supporting THIS mother…you have helped our entire family in big ways! We will never forget this GRACE — this gift — of God’s love and provision that you have provided to us. See that “precious cargo” holding the thank you sign here? His life is better because you helped his Momma and we are all profoundly grateful!

With Much Gratitude ~
the Burkhart Family

Hi Michelle,

FullSizeRender-2I would like to sincerely Thank You as well as all the generous Mothers who have so lovingly provided my family with meals in this most difficult time of our lives. It has been extremely difficult coping with everything that my family is going through, but it gives me great comfort knowing that Mothers Grace was and continues to be there if I need them. I never realize how much relief it would be to not have to worry about cooking dinner. With all the Doctor appointments and different treatments my son has required Mothers Grace has been exactly that for us Grace! I was an extremely proud person and would never think of asking for financial or any form of help. But when I met you and Sandy that day for lunch and you both told me that you were there to take the burden of me, God only knows what I felt that day. I had been carrying many burdens since the day My son and his entire Family were in that fatal car accident where he lost is fiancee , leaving him in extremely critical condition with two kids 5 yrs and 3 yrs also injured. I had to step in and take care of everyone, never once wondering who was going to take care of me? But I genuinely believe God knew that I too needed taking care of. Because like a true miracle you phoned me and told me that Mothers Grace wanted to help ” Me”. I accepted and I am so grateful I did because through Gods Grace and Mothers Grace many burdens were lifted and I was able to return to work. Thank you again for taking care of our car and for all you did for us at Christmas! Additional Thanks to Dr. Javia for working on my son’s teeth..she was wonderful!

Thank You again Mothers Grace for all your Blessings!

Mother’s Grace has helped me in more ways than I can explain. After relocating to Arizona and going through a divorce and starting a new job, things were very hard. I was left with no family and virtually no support for myself and my two young children. Michelle came to my place of work, listened to my story and hugged me when I began to cry. Mother’s Grace helped me buy food for my family and even went above and beyond and found my son a bed. Until then he had been sleeping on an air mattress. Mother’s Grace has been a source of support and Michelle herself will even call and email to see how things are. I am forever grateful to Michelle and Mother’s Grace for all of the help and support they have shown my family.

I am so blessed to have women like you to support me emotionally as fellow cancer patients and moms. Your gifts today were so over-the-top generous after you’ve already been so kind to my family and I. Thank you Mothers grace for the help. It will be a huge help to me and my family. My mom now doesn’t have to work two jobs. (she can go back to her main job) I am very thankful for the money you gave me. I am going to keep my grades up and keep trying really hard in class. You will be a part of the reason I can still attend a catholic school and have this great education and bond I have with the teachers. I promise I will not disappoint you. Once again thank you for the help.

DSC_0011Just wanted to thank you and everyone at Mother’s Grace involved in helping me and my kids out financially. Things have been pretty stressful and I had no idea anyone would do something like this to help. It really lifted a burden and will help me get back on my feet. I was very close to not being able to keep my son in daycare due to not being able to keep up with the bill. I thank you all for what you have done to help me.

Mother’s Grace has been a God send to our family. I have been battling cancer for fifteen months which has taken a tole on our checkbook, home and spirits. My three daughters and I were thrilled, amazed, and most of all thankful for the generous women that took in our family and have taken care of us for months now. These beautiful woman are in touch with the heartache and hardship of suffering families. They have gone beyond helping and have become friends. They work hard to meet the needs our family sets forward as we travel this road. We would not have this added peace of mind if it were not for Mother’s Grace Group.

Thank you for everything,

I can hardly express the gratitude we feel for the assistance Mother’s Grace has provided to my brother and his family. When my brother and his wife learned she had cancer earlier this year we knew the road ahead would be difficult. Both Greg and Carol had suffered recent layoffs from their jobs and with two type 1 diabetics in the family, medical bills were already a heavy burden. Each of us provided as much help as we could, but at a certain point it became apparent that more would be needed. I remembered the work of Mother’s Grace and nominated this family for whatever help could be provided. The responsiveness of Michelle and her team was amazing. They were so willing to assist and so quick to provide a donation, not once, but twice. All of us who give to charities hope that our money is used for maximum benefit. Mother’s Grace is providing real and effective assistance for mother’s in true need. Thank you!

May God Bless all of your work!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart Mother’s Grace!! Your organization truly cares about families. It’s been challenging for me as a single parent of two special needs sons to make sure I provide not only shelter, food and clothing but also get them the best healthcare and therapy they need with their autism and down syndrome. With the help of Mother’s Grace, my family is in a much better place!

emmetts-fightEmmett’s Fight Charity received a grant from Mother’s Grace. Our charity is dedicate to bring awareness about the danger’s of button battery ingestion to those in our community and around the world. My youngest son, Emmett, was affected by these tiny button batteries, when he accidentally swallowed one that was housed in a remote control of our DVD player. This injury inspired our passion to protecting other’s children and families from suffering the way our family has suffered. The recovery has been complex and critical, because of this our charity has not had the opportunity thus far to raise the adequate funds for our organization. However, after receiving the grant, Emmett’s Fight will now be able to move forward to provide care packages to children who have suffered from ingesting a button battery. We also will be able to created much needed educational pamphlets promoting button battery safety for small children to schools, daycare facilities and Doctor’s offices. We hope to shed light on this important and life saving issue! Thank you Mother’s Grace for helping us to save lives!

Thanks,

On behalf of the Samantha Stachel “Play Big Scholarship”, I wanted to thank you for your generous donation. We are in the process of selecting the scholarship recipients. We have received applicants from almost 50 qualified applicants who have achieved much in the way of academics, leadership, and contributions to their communities and have persevered to accomplish these achievements despite challenging circumstances in their lives. Like Mother’s Grace’s Mission to provide support to Mothers facing adversity, the Play Big Scholarship will support students who do not let their adversity define them or their goals.

Thank you again for helping Samantha’s vision and life continue to inspire others in their lives.

coleen-1-smGod is so infinitely involved in all of the details that when you have Faith you can appreciate and delight in the process as He unfolds His deepest desires for your life. Looking back at the moment by chance that I met Michele with Mothers of Grace, I now see the details. At the time, it was distracting, but she knew she was to reach out to me on a Sunday morning. So often we find ourselves being rushed in this world, that being open to experiencing a God filled moment doesn’t always fit into our schedule.

I would like to share a story of how one person, one act of kindness, a moment of Grace has touched my life, my son’s life and our future with Grace and Gratitude…..

The funds will be used to support the Mwereni Integrated School for the Blind in Moshi Tanzania. K2 Adventures Charity has made a significant difference in the medical and dental care of over 600 children at this school of which 74 of the students are blind and orphaned. In 2010 and 2011, K2AF built a free standing 1,500 square foot medical/dental clinic that now serves the children that attend the Mwereni School. This is the only form of medical care that any of these children have ever received in their short lives. K2AF also employs one local nurse, three local caregivers, one local security guard, one local dermatologist and one local dentist for the children. In addition, K2AF supplied the medical/dental clinic with over $300,000 worth of medical and dental supplies, toys, bedding, mattresses, shoes, computers and sports equipment over the years.

Dear Michelle & Tricia,

I am so thankful that there are women like you out there (and also Diane Spence!). Not that you have had to endure hardships to get to where you are, but thankful that you have the vision and the drive to establish this group and encourage other mothers.

I am so very appreciative of the gift cards you shared with me. Especially the Starbucks card. A little caffeine certainly makes it easier to get through some of the long days. But I am forging ahead, one day at a time. And as my Jesus Calling reading for July 15th (my birthday) said “Do not worry about tomorrow! This is not a suggestion, but a command.” Words to live by…

Grace and Peace to you both and I pray that one day soon I will be in a position to join you in supporting mothers in need.

Thank you Michelle and Tricia for the honor of allowing me to share our family’s story of the life and loss of our son, Matthew Kokodynski, to a congenital heart defect in 2005. I was so humbled to be chosen for such an honor to speak at the 2012 Mother’s Grace luncheon. Matthew’s memory was able to live on through your beautiful event. There are no words that could properly express my appreciation for such a gift.

The generous Mother’s Grace Grant that you awarded the Children’s Heart Charity, will be used to further our mission of funding the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects. Congenital heart defects is the number one defect in children. I hope you both know that you have directly helped to make a difference in many children’s lives and the lives of those who love and care for them. May God continue to bless the work that you do!

The generous Mother’s Grace Grant that you awarded us will go directly to continuing The Purple Society’s Mission and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! The relationship of Mother’s Grace and The Purple Society is a true blessing from God and will carry on the Lord’s work into the future. 1Peter2:21 “To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in His steps.”

So, so many ****tears**** – to hear this mother’s story of Malachai’s death from SIDS – no medical answer, no cause for her healthy 3 1/2 month old’s death….and to see her pain…..she lost her apartment b/c of her son’s funeral expenses.
So, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you, thank you, thank you – your scholarship gives her time to find a job and for the time being she will not have to worry about her kids losing all that they own and that her kids will be able to have something for Christmas.

Dear Michelle and Tricia

As the New Year begins, I just wanted to send a short note. Our families who could not fish in the Gulf are now back at work, and the Oil workers are gradually being called back as well. Thanks to your generosity last spring, those families struggling to pay their tuition were helped at a real crunch time. As I reflect back on the blessings our school received in 2011 I thought of Mother’s Grace.
May God continue to bless your work.
Yours in Christ,
Sister Elizabeth Hebert SLW

The African girls are halfway through the Edward Tulane book and LOVE it! We had our first book club review last night and they have so much to talk about that we’re meeting tonight as well. They even asked if they could take their books to church camp next week. What a great idea you had!

On behalf of Ms. Renee’ James family I would like to thank you for the generous donation. This donation will help her to purchase a refrigerator and a stove for the newly renovated home. We are getting close to finishing the home. On November the 30th Ms. James and I will meet another good Samaritan that will donate a few used furniture pieces to make the house a home for the family. It is people like you that help make a difference in the lives of folks who are struggling to recover from a natural disaster that turns into a blessed ending. God bless you!

megan-hornerI’m so over whelmed with peace from all the prayers and support I have gotten from all you. I can’t begin to thank mothers grace for all your support.

God works in such amazing ways…. I also own a business called mom2mom which is all about moms helping other moms. We help moms through donations, all over the world and also help moms here by doing a semi annual children’s consignment event. That is part of the reason we started Dig Deep Give Well. When I went to Africa for the first time in 2007, all I could think about was “what would I do if I had to get water for my family of 7?” “How would I be able to carry that much water?” It changed my life!

Dear Tricia & Michelle,

“Thank you for your very generous donation towards the purchasing of my very own handicap-accessible van. Your kindness and thoughtfulness is very much appreciated. Your donation has allowed me to get that much closer to obtaining not only a van, but also my independence. May God bless you with His tenderest blessings!” With Sincere Gratitude,

Bill Wogan

Dear Michelle and Tricia,

My Heart is still so full from your beautiful event on Thursday that is hard to find words to describe what it all meant to me. “My Cup Runneth Over!”

I like many, didn’t know quite what to expect from the first public launching of “Mother’s Grace.” The gorgeous setting at Silverleaf Country Club, the vendors and their products, delicious food and the presence of so many wonderful women that turned out for you was the beginning of great things to come.

I was truly honored and humbled to be invited to speak and to be selected as a recipient of Mother’s Grace grants for 2011. Many thoughts have run through my mind today as I reflect on your words and stories. Congratulations for putting your fears aside, and going forward with your idea and dreams. I can promise this, you will never look back. You have begun a journey that will physically take you to many places , mentally challenge you and spiritually deepen you and awaken you as you will see many miracles out of your work. This kind of work is so much bigger than us “Not by my might or power, but by His spirit,” is a scripture that I have lived by in my work.

Most of all , Mother’s Grace will impact and define it’s own mission statement through your children. They will learn so much from watching and working with you. They will experience a great freedom in “the focus off of self ” and will also experience the joy of giving and therefore, gain a deeper understanding of what Christ meant when he said “It is better to give than receive.” The fruit of this will be your greatest reward and they will discover the CHAMPION that’s inside of themselves, as in all of us.

Your work will ripple and touch thousands of lives in ways that you can’t imagine. Congratulations once again on putting Hands and Feet to your Dreams and Faith . I have learned from the Katrina recovery that Faith is ACTIVE and POWERFUL. It doesn’t sit in a pew or a church, IT MOVES !!! And you are MOVERS that’s for sure!!!

May the favor of God be on you and Mother’s Grace. Thank you once again for a day that I will never forget.

Love,
Connie
